And He Slew the Clubites…

Ever been clubbing late at night and been harassed by messengers of the Lord? Jesus' General has A Reading from the Gospel of Left Behind that I can totally relate to.

Here is, by far, my favorite line (from verse 6):

And thus it was so with all of the clubites for Techno had banished their love for our Savior from their hearts.

Yeah, techno rules. Forget God, I've got DJ Tiesto!

Aaron, can you recommend any well-known techno songs?

Can I!?!?!?!?!? Jesus Christ yes!

Most of the techno I listen to is trance, with a little house and drum n bass thrown in for good mix.
I will list a number of techno songs that I like that are also hit singles, arranged by artist. If you have any trouble finding any of these songs, let me know and I will help you out.

Ferry Corsten
Rock Your Body, Rock

Paul Van Dyk
The Other Side
Time Of Our Lives

Love Comes Again
Adiago for Strings

Hold Your Color

That list should be decent enough for starters. If you are looking for more songs than this, or want specific styles, let me know and I will give you more songs to hunt for.

A bit too close to home, Aaron. Remember, the guy in Seattle shot a bunch of ravers after a party, because they were "immoral," or something. That showed them! Of course, he had to kill himself afterwards.

Maybe the club harrassers are people in their 30's, like this guy, who can't stand it if they're not hanging around 14 year-olds.

Nothing solves immoral dancing, immodest dress, and immoral drug use like a good old fashioned Biblical massacre!

Praise Jesus!

Heh, not being from Seattle, you guys don't understand the irony of the shooting was that a redneck Montanan Bible beater was living on Capital Hill, which is the primary center of the gay and lesbian scene here.

On a side note, Aaron, we've debated morally now, but don't make me whoop-ass on the non-musicality of techno music!!!!! j/k
