Do you think it's wise to have to people who are neophytes w/respects to Calvinism trying to tell others about Calvinism?

I mean, why don't you have me on to talk about heart surgery?

~Paul

P.S. 1) Were you an objectivist when you wrote, "The most rigorous philosophical system is Objectivism. It is the only such system based on explicit and valid axioms and deductions, which makes it the most reliable guide to a healthy relationship with reality."

2) If you were an objectivist, it seems that you are no longer. What "major points" of objectivism do you disagree with now?

Check previous post comments for answers to your questions.

And have a happy new year Paul. Have you helped anyone find Jesus lately?

"Check previous post comments for answers to your questions."

I searched high and low but could not fiund anything about neophytes discussing subjects of which they are unawares. Perhapes you could provide more direction?

"And have a happy new year Paul."

You too.

"Have you helped anyone find Jesus lately?"

I wasn't aware He was lost. Anyway, it's the other way around. Jesus "finds people." Or, more technically percise, Jesus brings in his elect. At any rate, you're not going to get under my skin and if you choose to continue in this vein with me, so be it. In closing, I guess my response is that since Jesus brings in his elect I don't need to help people "find Him." They will all "find Him" and there is nothing anyone can do about it. God's plans cannot be thwarted. So, the job of the apologist is to shut the mouth of the unbeliever, not "find people" for Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the one who does the converting.

Have a good evening and be safe.

Manata: "They will all 'find Him' and there is nothing anyone can do about it. God's plans cannot be thwarted."

This can only mean that man's choices and actions are utterly irrelevant and completely ineffectual. And that being the case, the Christians' pretenses about morality being so important are just that - pretenses. Man is just a puppet whose actions conform to the ruling subject (cf. metaphysical subjectivism) like a cartoon character conforming to the cartoonist's intentions in a cartoon environment. Not only is utter absurdity the norm for the Christian worldview, it allows for no alternative to absurdity whatsoever.

Clearly it was the Christian god's plan to have Aaron get under Paul's skin with the jab of a single question. Apparently that god's plan is that its believers be perpetually annoyed and insecure with themselves. It's kind of sad, as Christians seem so miserable.

Paul-

As I said before, please show where I was inconsistent with the Westminster Confession.
