Why ?

Why is the American government forbidding our doctors to treat victims of Hurricane Kathrina ?

I REALLY wish I had some kind of answer to that.

Right now, Im guessing prescriptions (like marijuana) and the fact that Canadian doctors dont go through "American" credentialing programs?

Both shitty excuses at best.

I think was DUB is saying is that he is unaware of the fact that USA prevented Canadian doctors from helping the wounded and sick.

Yea, well no American media talked about it apparently ! That's why I don't trust the American media. I saw it on Global Canada news.

Good post. Just passing through, I'm liking the blog by the way.

Americans must have some fallacious impression of Canada. Importation of prescription drugs is the perfect analogy. What does the American government think--Canadians are barefoot in the woods brewing a steaming cauldron of Vioxx? It's utter absurdity.

What is this "hurricane"? And, America obtained the Louisiana Territory?!?!

Seriously though, maybe the US gov't didn't want the horrible Canadian doctors malpracticing on the American sick and injured. I mean, all we ever hear about a socialized health care system is the complete lack of competent practitioners it guarantees.

Maybe not too seriously.
